Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. Appoints Simon R. Gerlin As Director

SimonWellesley Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBK), the parent company of Wellesley Bank (the “Bank”), today announced that Simon R. Gerlin has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Gerlin will also serve on the Audit Committee of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Gerlin has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance of MassDevelopment since February 2013. Prior to MassDevelopment, Mr. Gerlin served in executive finance, compliance, and audit roles at Clean Harbors Environmental Services and spent 16 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Gerlin is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of CPAs. He received a B.A. degree from Middlebury College and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Three Stones Gallery Opens New Show on January 30

Three Stones Gallery opens a new show with a reception on Saturday, January 30, 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Titled “Both Sides Now: Inner and Outer Landscapes”, the show features paintings by Bryony Bensly, Jeff Carpenter, Linda Packard, and Concord artist Timothy Dunnbier. This body of work explores landscapes of the real world as well as the images of memories and dreams. The combination of oil, watercolor, and acrylic weaves a tapestry of explosive and subtle color in the show. Jennifer Johnston, gallery owner, commented about the show, “The viewer is privy to the spiritual pulse of outer landscapes and the psychology of our inner domain.” The January 30 reception is free and open to the public. The show runs through March 16.
